Marathon

Di Xiao would like to thank Charles Hazlewood, St George's Hall Bristol and everyone involved in pulling together the amazing Erik Satie's Vexations Half Marathon 17 April 2011.

Happy Birthday Julian Lloyd Webber!!

What a spectacular event!! Julian Lloyd Webber's Birthday Party at The Royal Festival Hall London should go down as the greatest show of 2011. With Andrew Lloyd Webber on Piano, Dame Cleo Laine in great voice, Danielle De Niese on top form, Tasmin Little as radiant as ever, Jane Watts at the Organ, an Eric Whitacre debut and all supported by the Philharmonia Orchestra under the baton of Christopher Warren-Green and Lord Melvyn Bragg as master of ceremonies.  But this was not all, possibly the highlight of the evening was a family performance in which Julian was joined by his wife Jiaxin Cheng his brother and the Philharmonia Orchestra. The touching finale was played out with Children from Julian’s In Harmony project. The packed hall and the amazing show proved that classical music has a bright future.

Congratulations Julian on your Birthday and a fabulous concert.
